What is the History of the Rock and Roll? A Brief Recall

It is said that rock and roll first came into use, at least the term, when one disc jockey by the name of Alan Freed first used it. This led to the usage of the genre as a whole and the development of future rock and roll. But in the initial days of the formation of this form of music it was actually a type of blues, little distinct but really not very perceivable. However it was from the use of the words rock and roll and rock and roll that the term or the name of this genre came into being. Every other rock band that people talk about, especially the ones who had made it in the history of rock and roll have started out earlier as blues band sand then developed themselves into rock bands. This also has to do much with the popular demand for the songs which were more tinged with guitar and heavy drums.

The name it self defines what it stands for. The music in itself is highly erotic and there have been many singers down the line whose deep voice has made the music all the more sensual. Rock and roll is a term which is used for sexual intercourse but the music itself is nothing less. for every rock and roll singer of repute there have been more female fans than male and that is imply because of the deep sexual message that the voices of these singers and the lyrics of the songs held. This message was never overt but so subtly placed that it was all the more arousing. However the basic purpose of using this term for the defining factor of this genre was to draw in the white male population in this genre and therefore make the music popular and famous.

If you want to listen to realm rock songs and find out the sexual meanings within them listen to early rock and roll.

Alan Freed however even brought in some types of black music in the white music of the rock and roll because he himself was enamoured with that type of music. Therefore along with jazz, various other forms of black music starting making their entry into the white world of music. Now, the music industry cashed in because already Freed had made this genre quite popular and it was time for the producers to make their share of profits.

After this there came the era of the rock bands, the first one being an entirely black band. This band was called the Bill Haley and the Comets. However they failed to make that big a mark because, as one knows from the history of jazz, even at this time US was highly racial in their standpoints and the dogmatic white skinned people still lived. Therefore not many white people encouraged and propounded the listening of such black music. But this genre became very popular amongst the whites. So although the music industry did try, they could still not make as much profits. It was a popular comment in those days that if you could get one white man to sing the rock and roll in the way the black man does you can build a castle of money that you would make.
